Street Impact ~ America "Raffle"  Network
At Street Impact (a division of Masterpeace Communications) we believe strongly that the one to one friendship between an adult and young person makes all the difference in the world. Realizing that the older generation cares about what really happens to them can have a positive influence will last a lifetime.
WHO WE ARE
What is Street Impact?
We are a platform for the "We Care That You Care" campaign across America. "We", the older generation, care that "You", the younger generation, Care (about yourselves). With the "whatever" attitude that is so prevalent, focus and meaning in life is needed more than ever in young people's lives. Using streetrods, which are an almost universal attraction to kids, we seek to establish a rapport with them, a way to build relationships that offer positive, life changing counsel and guidance.
How is the program supported financially?
Masterpeace is a 501 C-3 non-prifit organization established in 1980. For years it has relied on donations and personal support from its members. We have also been helped by individual and corporate contributions.
We believe that fundraising by raffling off the "T Bucket Roadster" is a fun way to get people involved and informed about Street Impact. The Father's Day raffle will be our first.
What actual service does Street Impact offer?
We make ourselves available to schools, youth related events, churches, car shows and other community efforts geared towards helping kids. We are self contained, providing a beautiful 34' X 40' tent with an excellent sound system, for music concerts and PA, at least 2 show quality streetrods, Tae Kwon Do shows and a message to inspire and encourage young people to reach positive goals in their lives. We want to give adults confidence and ideas on how to show the kids that they care. Knowing that we can build personal relationships with a limited amount of young people, we hope to reproduce ourselves in communities across America... working with community leaders, parents, laymen alike... People who really mean: "We Care That You Care!" kids.
