How much is a donation for a raffle chance and how is payment
collected?
U.S. $20.00, payments are charged to donors credit cards or collected from checks or money orders.
Does the organization have plans on using any other forms of payment methods other than credit cards like Visa and MasterCard?
Donations can be made by major credit cards including VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. You may also send a check or money order. (please see entry form page for how to make payment with other than credit card).
Are there any restrictions for participants in the raffle?
We do not discriminate against any person and all are welcome. However, there may be local laws precluding some people from participating, we do cooperate with local jurisdictions who chose to preclude their citizens or residents from using this site in jurisdictions where participation in the raffles may be prohibited.
How are the restrictions monitored and enforced?
When anyone registers they notify streetimpact.com of their domicile and nationality. Enforcement is conducted by the jurisdictions where the person resides and is the responsibility of the resident to know the applicable laws of that jurisdiction.
Which country governs the raffle’s regulations and rules of the drawings?
The raffles at streetimpact.com are conducted in accordance with the United States and Texas (501) (c) (3) non-profit rules for raffles.
How and when are the winners notified? Will everyone get notice of the winners?
Each winning number will be posted for a minimum of thirty (30) days on the streetimpact.com's web site. We will have a winner's page. Additionally individual winners will be notified within twenty four (24) hours of their selection, via telephone, fax, and/or e-mail. At the end of each raffle, an email will be sent to all raffle participants, containing the winning number.
Can I enter several different raffles at streetimpact.com at once?
No, we are authorized under law to have two raffles a year to raise finance. Each persons can donate as often as they like to each raffle... and make as many donations as they wish. We also except donations separate from the raffles.
How is the raffle drawn and the winning number selected?
Each raffle will remain open until all available chances have been issued. When the last chance for a specific raffle has been acquired, that raffle will be closed. The winning chance number will be drawn by an independent firm as selected by Street Impact.
How long before another raffle begins after the winning number of the last prize is drawn?
We can have two raffles a year... to be determined by Masterpeace Communications.
How do I know that prizes in the raffle are really won?
With the permission of the winners they will be identified and in all cases the charities
who benefit from the raffle will be identified as a condition of their receiving funds
from the raffle.
Which organization will receive the benefit behind the raffle moneys?
We have chosen Street Impact ~ America, a division of Masterpeace Communications. We are a non-profit organization which works to provide counseling, teaching, healing, shelter, clothing, medical and educational needs to children across America who are in need.
If I refuse a prize and donate the whole proceeds to the charity of my choice, can I deduct the amount from my taxable income?
That would depend on the local laws and regulations of the domiciled territory of the winner.
Can I get a refund?
No. All donations are final. If a raffle is not completed within a reasonable period, or in the case all the available chances are not acquired, the donations will be refunded (see Rules Page).
Who decides to cancel a raffle choice?
The decision to cancel a raffle is exclusively that of Street Impact ~ America and Masterpeace Communications,Inc.
Who accepts responsibility if I receive my prize and it is damaged?
The prize will be given without damage. If a new car, the dealer will be responsible.
How many donations can I make to acquire a chance?
As many as you wish.
