GETTING THE MOST FROM METAL POLISH

Back to the Foyer!

  • WENOL is available in TWO PERFORMANCE GRADES

  • WENOL is also available in soft/hand CARNAUBA PASTE WAX.

Original Wenol (red tube)- our "work horse" is an aggressive cleaner for all metals and other surfaces, but is safe to use on even your finest silver and gold. We recommend using Original Wenol whenever cleanups or restorations are needed.  A small amount can solve many cleaning problems.
* CAUTION: Do NOT use on PLATED Silver and Gold!

"Ultra-Soft" Auto Wenol (blue tube) - the first ever and only true "show quality" polish made.  This extra gentle polishing compound is ideally suited for maintaining expensive custom wheels, delicate silver and all fine metals (i.e. plated gold and silver).  For best results, clean older metals with Original Wenol first.  Then apply New Auto Wenol to capture the deepest, brightest and longest lasting shine you haveever seen!  For well-maintained metals, use only "ultra Soft" Auto Wenol.

HANDY POLISHING TIPS

  • ALWAYS USE WENOL POLISHES SPARINGLY!

For Best Results:
Apply polish to the metal surface using a soft polishing cloth, rub gently until a black residue appears, then continue to spread the black residue until it disappears into a light colored film.  Next, using a soft, dry cloth, buff the cleaned area to a long-lasting brilliance.  We recommend sweatshirt or flannel fabric for all polishing tasks, but any soft cloth will do.  Wenol polishes can also be used with power buffing equipment.  When using buffers, rub polish into the metal surface, then buff.

Remove Surfact Rust:
Use Original Wenol as recommended above.  For stubborn surface areas, such as stains, rust, etc., apply a thin coat of polish over the trouble area and allow to stand until dry.  Then apply a small amount of fresh polish to finish the job.  DO NOT use steel wool or any abrasive materials on plated metals, chrome, gold or silver.

Eliminate Polish Build-Up:
Before polishing begins, rub polish in the cloth.  This simple step "opens the face" of the polish, allows you to get more "mileage" out of the polish, and will help eliminate extra cleanup time.

Reduce Polishing Time and Effort with Power Buffs:
While Wenol polishes work quickly and effectively by hand, you can make the job even easier with power buffing equipment.  A standard electric drill and soft buffing pad will deliver professional results.  When using buffs, rub small amounts of polish into metal surface before buffing begins.

YOU CAN EXPECT REMARKABLE RESULTS WITH WENOL!!
